Back behind the greenhouse buildings in the botanically-designed Wilhem Zoo of Stuttgart, Germany lies an overflow garden. Here the tulips are tossed higgledy-piggledy into beds under a tree, a counter-balance to the orderly battalions of tulips marching across the front lawns. It is this secretive, wilder side of Germany that inspired this piece "Tulipsicles". It is a study of contrasts, with each colorful tulip wrapped in it's complementary color. Perhaps you have a wilder side you'd like share with this piece in your home?
